Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey is made using local ingredients from Tennessee. Our whiskey is made the way Nearest made it intricately by hand, placing it in the barrel close to 110-proof, and pouring it out at just the right age, taste and color for a smooth finish.

Nose: Baled hay and pumpkin seeds with subtle notes of ripe stone fruit and caramel corn.

Palate: Bold and spicy upfront then mellows with sweet caramel and maple, like biting into an oatmeal raisin cookie.

Finish: Long and rich.

Hailing from Maryland, one of the original capitals of whiskey making in the United States, the first African-American master distiller on record in the United States and thought to be responsible for helping perfect the Lincoln County Process, a requirement in being categorized as Tennessee Whiskey.
