Description

Pours a hazy gold producing 3 fingers of rapidly diminishing, white head that leaves a miniscule hint of anything I would call lace, surface cap or collar. Excluding the absence of lace it is an attractive beer (in terms of color) when you consider the appearance of most cheladas. Aroma has a faint hint of adjunct grains drowning in a sea (and a briney sea it is) of lime. Taste is salt, salt and more salt (did I mention the salt), LIME flavored mineral water mixed with thin adjunct grain beer. In short: Citrus sour and salty. Mouthfeel is light bodied, calling it light-medium bodied would be gratuitous. Very high carbonation and lime give it a prickly bite. The salt and citrus are mouth puckering. Would go down good on a very hot sweaty day unfortunately it would do a fine job of exacerbating dehydration by several orders of magnitude above any of the standard lawn mower beers available for such drinking enjoyment.
