Jim Beam Repeal Batch, an inexpensive, limited edition variant of Jim Beam bourbon that’s bottled at 43% ABV.

Repeal Batch, which will be a limited-edition offering, is an 86-proof Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. The bourbon has been aged for four years (as the normal Jim Beam is) but it is non-chill filtered, giving the whiskey a much fuller body on the palate.

Jim Beam Repeal Batch Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Buttered popcorn, charred oak and vanilla stand out initially.

Palate: The texture is a bit oily, and coats the mouth first with heavy char flavor, followed by notes of persimmons, cinnamon, corn, vanilla and butterscotch.

Finish: The finish is spicy with cinnamon and rye flavors.
