Pours a deep golden color; so deep it is almost orange. Thick foamy head that lasts for a while. Lots of lacing, and carbonation that goes on for days. Smells of a malty corn mix. Tastes just the same, but with more mild notes of complex hop flavor. Certainly not overpowering, but unlike their lager style, this one you can tell has the presence of the hop. Feels medium in body; thicker than their lager style, but not as thick as some other ESBs on the market.
