90 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous: “Bright ruby-red. Blackberry, boysenberry, black cherry and spices on the nose, along with a cool leafy note suggestive of Cabernet and an element of violet lift. Juicy, fine-grained and alive, conveying a moderately penetrating quality to its perfumed flavors of dark berries, pepper, licorice and spices. The subtle floral element carries through on the palate. Finishes with a firm but fine dusting of tannins and very good length. Nice energy here, and no unneeded sweetness; in fact, this well-balanced and concentrated Malbec is rather uncompromisingly dry.” 9/19
