Description
Mexico – The nose is initially caramel sweet, but clean vegetal aromas soon rise from the glass. The body is somewhat light, and the palate is gingery and peppery. The finish is soft, warm, and of medium length. After 18 months in American oak barrels, Don Julio Anejo has a lime, grapefruit and mandarin aroma that complements a smooth flavor with a touch of butterscotch and results in a bright, lightly spiced finish with the essence of wild honey.
