Made with a blend of fins bios from just fifty of the best Charente growers, and given an initial aging in young barrels for strong woody character and intense, full-bodied flavor, it receives a second aging in mature barrels to bring forth hints of orange peel, carnation, and clove that enliven the taste profile. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or blended with a bit of ginger ale.
