Aged for four years, this rye whiskey earned a score of 90 points from the Beverage Testing Institute.

James Oliver Rye is 100% American Rye distillate barreled, aged, and bottled at the Indio Spirits headquarters in Oregon. And the barrels that they use are American white oak with a dark #4 char—sometimes called an “alligator char” because of the burn pattern on the inside of the barrels.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Aroma of granola, greek yogurt, rye and peppercorn.

Palate: Notes of spicy grains, buttered dough and roasted nuts dominate the palate.

Finish: Finish accented by notes of black pepper and honeyed nuts.
